In late march the Common Crow is getting ready to build nests.
They are starting to get together in pairs.
The crow is black as such exposing this bird in good light always tricks the exposure meter in the camera. I set my metering to spot metering and place the spot on the bird. However, it still requires some processing in Lightroom.
If you are wanting to get out and photograph birds and practice you exposure metering in the Neighbourhood there will always be some crows.
When the garbage is put out on the curbsides the crows seem to gather for anything that might be eatable - after all they are scavengers.
